It's not often that we celebrate mistakes but people have been coming to the city of Pisa for years to gawk at a tower that wasn't even built properly. The fact is that even as they were building it, the tower started leaning. Instead of scrapping it and starting over, they kept on building but tried to correct the slant. So not only does the tower lean, it bends. Anyway, the Field of Miracles also consists of a beautiful Baptistry and Cathedral and is a beautiful place to take a few pictures (most of them of the goofy kind), and then move on.
