Lucca - City of a Hundred Churches















Lucca sits just to the north of Pisa and we stopped for an afternoon visit after our morning in Pisa. We decided to rent bicycles which allowed us to see the whole interior of the walled-in city. We started with pedalling around the city wall before cruising through all the narrow streets. There might be a hundred churches but we weren't counting.
