There is no shortage of funny or strange sights to see in Italy. We found Manitoba had followed us to Tuscany. So now we have a way to calm our cat Lucky down when she is tearing up the house. This would be a popular addition to any street corner. At least they warn you before you step out into the street. Something tells me that you are going to have a long, long wait. We got a kick out of getting our ticket 'obliterated'.
Calling polluters 'Barbarians' could be the key to getting them to clean up their act. Sadly we saw way too many of these signs (we didn't have any problems this time). Italians love decorating for Christmas including oversize animals. We never knew there were so many ways to make toast. What a revolutionary idea for those who want to show how they feel about certain politicians or celebrities but want to do it in private. Some of the Christmas light displays had rather non-festive themes. Pick a colour, any colour. You never know who might roll on by. Nothing like meeting your Power need by stomping on someone's face for perpetuity. Now that's the Smart car advantage. We got a kick out of watching amateurs get in the way of a professional photo shoot. Every vending machine on every street corner should have this selection. (Do you need to scan your ID before selecting from the second row from the bottom?) If you ever need an outfit to impress others, you've come to the right place. Don't think these Roman soldiers strike fear into anybody.
