The third largest city in Italy is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Somehow it has blended all the historic buildings and narrow streets with modern day transportation and amenities ... and it works. Maybe not the way other cities in the world have done it but it is a chaotic and entertaining solution. Naples' historic centre is the largest in Europe and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. More importantly, Naples is the home of pizza which is served with way fewer toppings than back home but is every bit as delicious. This city deserved a longer visit (when have we said that before).
